- Producers of an educational app already in the European and UK markets wished to establish themselves in China and help kindergarten kids learn English
What We Did
- Conducted market research analysis of Beijing parents with children aged between 2-5 years
- Analyzed the views of parents on the user experience and interface of the app as well as their thoughts about the relationship between technology and children
We provided recommendations for:-
- How the app could be altered to engage more effectively with Chinese children (through a reward system and more engaging cartoon characters).
- A change of business model in China, to provide the app for free and run on advertising or extra premium content.
