  • Producers of an educational app already in the European and UK markets wished to establish themselves in China and help kindergarten kids learn English

What We Did

  • Conducted market research analysis of Beijing parents with children aged between 2-5 years
  • Analyzed the views of parents on the user experience and interface of the app as well as their thoughts about the relationship between technology and children

The Outcome

We provided recommendations for:-

  • How the app could be altered to engage more effectively with Chinese children (through a reward system and more engaging cartoon characters).
  • A change of business model in China, to provide the app for free and run on advertising or extra premium content.
